Let op bereikbaarheid Jaap Edenijsbaan Amsterdam

SLUITING MIDDENWEG VANAF 28 OKTOBER TOT EINDE VAN HET SEIZOEN

Kom je normaal gesproken met de auto van de A10 of vanuit Diemen dan is het vanaf volgende week opletten. De Middenweg is van maandag 28 oktober 2024 tot na het einde van het schaatsseizoen afgesloten voor autoverkeer tussen de A10 en de Kruislaan. Dit betekent dat je vanaf de ring niet je gebruikelijke route naar de ijsbaan kan rijden.

We zijn blij dat de Middenweg wordt gerenoveerd en dat we een mooie nieuwe toegangsweg krijgen. Dit kan wel (afhankelijk van je bezoekmoment) tijdelijk extra reistijd tot gevolg hebben. Om je volledige ijstijd te kunnen benutten adviseren voor vertrek met de auto de actuele verkeersinformatie te controleren.
Er zijn verschillende wegen van de A10 naar Jaap Eden:
1. Route Rozenburglaan (groene route) – Neem afrit 12 richting het Reigerpad.
2. Route Amstel Station (rode route) – Neem afrit 12 richting station Amstel.
3. Route Voorlandpad (blauwe route) – Neem afrit 13, parkeer je auto op parkeerplaats Voorlandpad en loop in 5 minuten naar de ijsbaan.
4. Route Amsterdam-Noord (niet op afbeelding) – Neem afrit 15 en rij over de Schellingwouder- en Amsterdamsebrug naar de ijsbaan.

Voor wie met de tram, fietsend of lopend naar de ijsbaan komt vanuit Diemen is er niets aan de hand. Tramlijn 19 blijft rijden en fietsers en voetgangers kunnen langs de Middenweg blijven fietsen en lopen.

CLOSING OF THE MIDDENWEG FROM OCTOBER 28 UNTIL END OF THE SEASON
If you normally come by car from the A10 or from Diemen, you will have to pay attention from next week onwards. The Middenweg will be closed to car traffic between the A10 and Kruislaan from Monday, October 28, 2024 until after the end of the season. This means that you cannot drive your usual route to the ice rink from the Ring.
We are happy that the Middenweg is being renovated and that we will have an improved access road. This may result in temporary extra travel time (depending on the time of your visit). In order to take full advantage of your ice time, we recommend checking the current traffic information before leaving by car.

There are several roads from the A10 to Jaap Eden:
1. Route Rozenburglaan (green route) – Take exit 12 towards the Reigerpad.
2. Route Amstel Station (red route) – Take exit 12 towards Amstel station.
3. Route Voorlandpad (blue route) – Take exit 13, park your car at the Voorlandpad parking lot and walk to the ice rink in 5 minutes.
4. Route Amsterdam-Noord (not shown) – Take exit 15 and drive over the Schellingwouder and Amsterdamsebrug to the ice rink.

For those who come to the ice rink from Diemen by tram, bicycle or on foot, there is nothing to worry about. Tram line 19 will continue to run and cyclists and pedestrians can continue to cycle and walk along the Middenweg.
